WMATA On-Call Architectural & Engineering Services Contract

GeoConcepts served as a geotechnical subconsultant for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) to provide architectural and engineering services throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. GeoConcepts successfully completed 20 task orders in a 5-year period.  GeoConcepts’ services included geotechnical engineering investigations, slope investigations and monitoring, chain drag surveys, metallurgic analyses of tunnel casing material, and coring and chemical analysis of poured in-place concrete structures. The data from these tests was used to develop rehabilitation and long term maintenance plans for the metro system.
