The project consisted of construction of a new Administration Building for Loudoun County Public Schools. At the time of the Administration Building dedication, Loudoun had 68 schools with 47,361 students. The development consisted of a new, five story office building with no below grade levels. In addition, the project included site utilities and asphalt surface parking lots and access roadways. GeoConcepts was contacted by Loudoun County Public Schools with construction of the project at about 50 percent complete. In an effort to avoid delaying the contractor’s progress, GeoConcepts mobilized a representative to the site within 24 hours of the initial contact by Loudoun County Public Schools to document the site activities while the scope of services and contract was developed.
