(ASHBURN, March 5, 2012) –GeoConcepts Engineering, Inc. (GeoConcepts) is completing geotechnical engineering studies for 12 bridge rehabilitation/replacement projects with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Staunton and Culpeper Districts. The projects were bundled under three separate contracts where GeoConcepts serves as a subconsultant on the civil engineer-led teams, GeoConcepts’ services include conducting field investigations using soil test borings and geophysical surveys where karst (limestone geology) and variable rock depth issues are present.
