(ASHBURN, February 5, 2008) – GeoConcepts Engineering, Inc. (GeoConcepts) is pleased to announce Tadeusz (Ted) W. Lewis, PE, Principal and Operations Manager for GeoConcepts, has been elected to the Board of Directors for The Eisenhower Partnership. Additionally, Mr. Lewis will serve on the organization’s Planning and Transportation Committee.
In this capacity, Mr. Lewis is responsible for supporting the mission of the Eisenhower Partnership to provide information regarding the Eisenhower Valley and promote high-quality economic development throughout the area.
As the Operations Manager for GeoConcepts, Mr. Lewis oversees the daily technical operations of the company. He has more than 20 years of experience in geotechnical, environmental, and hydrogeologic engineering for private sector and institutional clients throughout the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Mr. Lewis received degrees in Agricultural Engineering and Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, as well as an MBA from Averett College.
In addition to his duties for the Eisenhower Partnership, Mr. Lewis is a member of the Loudoun County Economic Development Commission and chairs the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Route 28 Highway Improvement Advisory Board, and the American Society Foundation Engineers (ASFE).
