(ASHBURN, January 30, 2008) – GeoConcepts Engineering, Inc. (GeoConcepts) promoted Eaton King to the role of Construction Services Manager in their Ashburn, Virginia office.
In this new position, Mr. King manages the daily operations of GeoConcepts’ field technicians, in addition to coordinating field paperwork with the project managers. “Eaton has been with GeoConcepts since 2002 and consistently contributed to the growth of the company,” says Ted Lewis, Principal and Chief Operations Officer at GeoConcepts. “His willingness to take on new challenges and strong interpersonal skills make him an ideal candidate for this significant role.”
Mr. King holds several certifications from the Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories (WACEL) including Concrete Technician Level II, Soil Technician Level I, Soil Technician Level II, Foundation Technician, and Structural Concrete/Masonry Inspector. Additionally, he offers specialized experience related to post-tensioning, and holds a Level I Certified Unbonded Post-Tensioning Installer certificate from the Post-Tensioning Institute. Mr. King received his degree from Montgomery College in Construction Management.
